By downloading or using MagicNews, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. The service
MagicNews provides language-learning features using news-style stories, word tools, and optional AI chat/voice practice. Features may change as we improve the product.
2. Accounts
You sign in with Apple. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and comply with Apple’s terms as well as ours.
3. Subscriptions (MagicNews Pro)
- Paid features are offered as auto-renewable subscriptions via Apple.
- Prices are shown in the app and charged to your Apple ID.
- Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policies.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Abuse, reverse engineer, or overload the service.
- Use the app for unlawful content or harassment.
- Attempt to bypass paywalls or security controls.
- Scrape or redistribute adapted content at scale without permission.
5. AI-generated content
Adaptations, explanations, and tutor responses are generated by AI and may contain errors. Do not rely on them as professional, legal, medical, or financial advice. Always verify important information.
6. Intellectual property
The MagicNews app, branding, and original materials are owned by ED AI LTD. Source news may be adapted from third-party public posts or curated content; trademarks remain with their owners.
7. Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ED AI LTD is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of MagicNews.
9. Termination
You may delete your account in Settings. We may suspend access for Terms violations or risk to the service.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
